La Casa del Naturalista is a very spacious and practically laid-out house, with a clear nature-lover’s touch throughout. Everything feels rational and well thought out, making it easy to feel at home, whether you stay for a few days or longer. From the house you can walk to the centre of El Bosque in about 20 minutes along a quiet country road, where you’ll find several shops and services. The location is ideal for exploring the Parque Natural Sierra de Grazalema. Staying in El Bosque gives you much more flexibility than staying up in Grazalema village itself, which feels more isolated and often requires driving out of the mountains for every trip. Inside the house there is plenty of useful information for hikers and nature enthusiasts, which we really appreciated. Parking is another strong point: it’s very easy and safe to park inside the private garden right next to the house. The house is welcoming, very clean, and well equipped. The bedrooms, kitchen, living areas, terrace and garden are all carefully maintained and clearly set up with care and attention to detail. It’s an excellent place for groups or families who want comfort, space and tranquility. The surroundings are perfect for walks and for fully disconnecting. The hosts deserve a special mention. Lucía and Antonio were extremely kind, attentive and available at all times, even before our arrival, making our stay smooth and comfortable from start to finish. Overall, a wonderful, well-cared-for house in a strategic location, run by excellent hosts. Highly recommended, and we would happily return.
