“A wonderful place in the countryside at the foot of Sierra de Gredos”

This place was a highlight of our trip. The moment you drive into the property grounds with the view of the mountains in the background - unforgettable. We loved the design of the hotel and our room. It was comfortable and warm, with lovely beds, and a nice balcony. The breakfast was also great, with many options and you get to sit in a nice room with panoramic views. If you like cats and horses, you will also love this place (bring some cat food!). I would also recommend this area in general - the town of El Barco de Avila is charming with a pleasant walk along the river.

We loved the quiet, rural location. Beautiful views of the mountains. The staff were friendly & helpful. Good choices for breakfast. Our room was brilliant. Great size. It was a great novelty having a jacuzzi bath, too!

Really loved the location... surrounded by nature. The rooms appear to be in barn/stable conversiones and have the perfect balance between rustic/modern decor. A short drive or even stroll up the road and you'll find a river where you can go swimming. The town nearby is also very pleasant. We enjoyed the breakfast too.

“One of my favourite places to enjoy the area”

I arrived in the evening of the of the 28th of May, the day of the historical power shutdown in the whole Iberian peninsula. Despite the difficulties, the staff did everything in their power to welcome their guests and I was received with a wonderful warm dinner. This is one of my favourite places to stay, wonderful scenery, great use of a traditional building. Staff is very friendly, always trying to help.

Great location ,Staff very good,room nice,but needs updating, the mattres on the bed not comfortable outdated,light on the bathroom very poor.Coyld not have a bath plug ,plug defective,staircase dangerous, sofa bed really bad ,tv,s outdated,etc. No railings on staircase!!

The fabulous location and facilities. The room was excellent at the tail end of a small road Spain trip. The views and the nearby river on flood were breathtaking.

What an excellent choice/ its some way from Seville, but that is the charm of this magnificent location with really good facilities. The history of this pristine farm, layout of buildings and visitor facilities made our 2 night stay a real highlight.
