“A comfortable stop”
The reception staff when we arrived were so helpful and friendly, it was great to to welcomed so warmly after a long motorbike ride. The room was comfortable.

“Terrible reception service and slow restaurant”
Check in was painfully slow. Almost an hour and all because we wanted one extra room. Then in the restaurant the 5 of us all ordered Burgers and these took at least an hour to come despite as being the first table to arrive for dinner. They gave us two free drinks as a gesture of goodwill and just turned up with 5 beers at the end of the meal. We hadn't asked for them

“Great location with lovely views and good to return to after day exploring !”
Excellent location for exploring the Jerte region. Lovely room ( deluxe suite size ) and good breakfast. Ate once in restaurant which was pretty good. Staff friendly and helpful. Ideal to stroll into El Barco de Avila which has some cafe's and a couple of restaurants. Ample parking. Very nice bathrooms with large bath and shower,

The Mirador has very nice views on the river, the castle and the village. Parking was quite easy, right at the door, and the check-in process went smoothly. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast options are alright.
