I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Manaus and would not recommend it to anyone. First of all, the staff was largely unhelpful and unprofessional, with the exception of only two reception employees who were actually polite and tried to assist. The rest of the staff seemed uninterested and poorly trained. The cleanliness was unacceptable. During our 10-day stay, housekeeping came only once, and even then, they merely made the bed and took out the trash. The floors were never cleaned, the bathroom was not properly sanitized, and mirrors were left dirty. Basic hygiene standards were clearly ignored. Another major issue was the room key cards, which constantly demagnetized, causing repeated inconvenience. At one point, we were locked out of our room for nearly an hour because the card reader on the door had no battery. Even after calling reception and maintenance, no one seemed to know how to fix the problem, which was extremely frustrating. The hotel itself feels old and poorly maintained. Food was another big disappointment — the breakfast service was chaotic and insufficient. They would cook only 5–6 eggs at a time, forcing guests to wait 10–15 minutes for more, despite the hotel being quite full. The buffet had very limited options and small quantities, making it difficult to find something decent to eat. We stayed on the top floor, where there was a constant draft in the room, making it uncomfortable. To make matters worse, one day we had no hot water at all, which was especially difficult since we were traveling with three small children. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

Loved the pool, slightly small when other guests are around but was never too busy. Nice & close to the beach. Day staff were lovely.

From the very beginning the hotel made a great impression – even before my arrival they kindly arranged a higher floor room for me, based on availability at the time. Such thoughtful service really stands out! The property is spotless: towels were replaced daily and bed linen every two days. Breakfast was a highlight – excellent and varied, with around thirty different options to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful street, yet within 10–15 km you’ll find everything you might need: the sea, promenade, restaurants, bars, and shops. Overall, a truly wonderful stay – clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The family room was spacious, the food was also a pleasant surprise, most dishes were very tasty compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in, and there was a good variety of options to choose from each day.

The mannerism by the staff had left me appalled, not only will they get angry when you can not understand them as a foreigner they will not try and make communication better. As well as that the room we had had very to little space to walk freely as the beds were from one side of the room to the other and made walking to the balcony or toilet very hard at night.

Lovely 3* hotel. Comfortable location, nice beach, good breakfast and dinner. It was every day cleaning, nice view from the 6th floor. Enjoyed the weekend in Manaus Hotel. Thank you ☺️
