Overview
Set on a historic country estate on Ekerö island, Skytteholm offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a TV and private bathrooms. The 27-hole Mälarö Golf Club is 150 metres away. Garden views can be enjoyed from all Skytteholm's rooms. Most have a seating area and work desk. Some rooms have views of Lake Mälaren. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast buffet and SPA, Pool & Sauna access for an additional fee. A private sandy beach with a jetty is located 50 metres from the main building. Additional facilities include a common room in each wing. Parking is free on site. Drottningholm Royal Palace is 19 km from the hotel. “I have stayed at the hotel before and look forward to every visit!”
The situation of the hotel is excellent, in beautifully wooded parkland surrounded by the water. The hotel successfully blends old-style Scandinavian elegance with modern comfort.

The breakfast was really good, with various products. -Only the croissants were missing... The public areas very cosy and elegant. Beautiful garden with flowers. - The heated water in the pool, extrabonus.

“An Unforgettable Stay at Hotel Skytteholm in Ekerö”
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Skytteholm in Ekerö, and I am delighted to say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking location to the excellent hospitality and top-notch facilities, there was nothing I could fault. The location of the hotel is simply stunning. It is situated on an island in the middle of a picturesque lake, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The tranquil setting was perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwinding. I enjoyed taking walks along the lakeside and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff at Hotel Skytteholm deserve special praise. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Every one of my requests was promptly met, and they went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable, making the experience even more pleasant.

“Great stay and wonderful kind friendly staff!”
The staff where amazing and super friendly! They really made our trip! The sauna has an amazing view of the lake- and in general the spa facilities are all well kept and kept to a high standard! there are some really well signposted dog walks around and the area is stunning! The breakfast was top notch and so was the food in the restaurant for dinner was great.

The location is beautiful, right next to a lake and close to nature. Only one hour walk to Rosenhill through the forest.

Wonderful place for a wonderful relaxing stay! Great and very friendly staff, good breakfast, all you might need... But, most important is the location, idylilcally, but still relatively close to Stockholm.

The room (bathroom) was not clean, the environment was nice, but the location scattered and not convenient. We had issues with the taxi, which we booked in advance. Two mornings in a row the booking was missed, and we were late for our business meetings, which is not ok. This was a basic service to be provided.

Breakfast was very nice. The location is amazing, the lake, the trees, the birds, the light. Sauna is very nice.
