Amazing staff, great location near all the important sights, Wartburg easily accessible on foot or by bus, less than 5 minutes on foot to the station. Got a free room upgrade I didn't even ask for. Breakfast was abundant and offered many nutritious and tasty options. All over an outstanding experience.

Excellent breakfast with everything you could ask for and more.

The location is perfect very close to the old town and about 400m away from the train station

The hotel is an imposing, Victorian-looking pile close on the centre of the quite interesting town of Eisenach. Our room, though small, was well-equipped though the view was limited to an enclosed flat roof. We were there a Sunday and Monday and their restaurants were closed both those days but there were others (largely Italian) within a five minute walk. On the other hand breakfast in the quite regal dining room was first class. It is well placed for those who wish to visit the Wartburg castle for it is at the foot of the 3km walk uphill or 5 minutes walk to the bus station from which there is a regular service.

Excellent location of the hotel. Everything nearby, from Kaufland supermarket, city center, train- and bus station. Personnel is very friendly and accommodating. Because I was traveling alone I had a single-room. Bed was larger than I expected. The room was very clean. Parking at the back of the hotel for 10 Euro a day. Breakfast was sufficient, actually all you need is there. Though I myself am not vegetarian or vegan, I noticed this hotel pays attention to this at their breakfast.
