“Outdated and unpleasant.”
Room was clean and the view is good. The basics are covered - there is a desk, a closet, TV, but unfortunately no fridge. Visited during a cold spell and the room was heated properly. Bed was comfortable enough.

Fabulous location - although the Wartburg was shrouded in mist and more-or-less invisible during our stay. Impressive building, with a pleasant bar and terrace. Friendly staff at reception. Good breakfast, Quiet and peaceful.

“The Christmas tree in the lobby is wanderful!”
We liked everything very much. The hotel is a bit old, but it felt like that’s exactly how it should be. It definitely have its own charm. The room was clean and tidy. Excellent value for this price.

“A really nice and relaxing place to say.”
The location is superb with easy access to the Schloss Wartburg, and (downhill) to Eisenach. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The room had a lovely view of the Wartburg Castle - beautiful.

“Wonderful place to stay”
It's a beautiful hotel, with a great view of the castle from my room. The time are very pretty. It's walking distance through the lovely forest up to Wartburg Castle or down to the town. The restaurant is really great too.
