“Great location and staff”

I got there after a 200 km cycle. The receptionist noticing I was a little tired and needed a shower immediately gave me my room key and we sorted out payment and check in paperwork later. I also got a free up grade to a double room. I left very early the next morning before breakfast started. On hearing my plans the staff prepared a packed lunch for me instead-no extra change. Finally great location and view. A big thank you and will be returning.

“A nice hotel, but the parking...”

Very friendly staff, really wanting you to have a pleasant stay. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, but felt more like a family room with two sofa-beds than the suite we've booked. (No, we didn't mention it) A big plus is the restaurant which is both open most of the day and also serve very good dishes.

“NIce hotel in a scenic location”

Excellent outside terrace area to enjoy a drink or meal with a great view of Wartburg castle. My evening meal was very nice and so was breakfast. My motorcycle was parked safely outside the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Always good to have a coffee maker in the bedroom.

The Staff was super nice and efficient at their work. It felt like everything was prepared for us before we even asked. The rooms on the second floor have a lovely view.

“Unsurpassed for views (and Bach)”

The location is wonderful, with a view of the Wartburg. The breakfast in the conservatory was gorgeous (views again), set up like for a wedding. Plenty of choice on the buffet, and very nice evening meal, too. Staff relaxed about rebooking this. You can go for a walk just outside the hotel in the woods, or hike to the Wartburg (steep). More carparks in the city itself, the wonderful Bach House museum- seriously good for music lovers. Very good patisserie opposite museum. One Wine bar and grill in town run by attentive Armenians? all in black and red. Everywhere else seemed to close by 9.30 pm.

Super quiet location. Fantastic view (from the terrace, the restaurant AND our room) over the rolling hillside to the iconic Wartburg. Really nice staff, especially the waiters on the afternoon & evening shift. Excellent food, fantastic breakfast buffet. Our room was cosy and comfortable.

Nice hotel on the top of a hill, with a splendid view on the Wartburg. Small but perfectly organized single room with a very comfortable bed. Very nice restaurant serving local specialties.

Expectations were high, but the hotel matched and exceeded them. Great location. We had a room with view on the Wartburg. Just lovely. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks in the restaurant excellent (dining outside is an option if weather allows). Great breakfast (scrambled eggs made with actual eggs!) with free choice of coffee and refill.
