Third year in a row - our go-to Eilat base This was our third guys trip to Eilat and third time staying at City Suites. At this point it's tradition. Three of us shared the apartment and it never felt cramped. Living room is big enough that someone can crash on the sofa if needed (we rotate who gets the bedroom). Bathroom situation was fine - good water pressure, never had to wait long. We're not the tidiest group but the place is easy to keep decent. Kitchen meant we could make food before heading out and didn't have to spend a fortune eating every meal outside. Fridge fit all our beers no problem. The balcony is where we started every evening. Few drinks, planning where to go, watching people walk by below. It's become part of the ritual. Location works for us - close enough to walk to bars and the beach, far enough that it's quiet when we get back late. Never had noise complaints either direction. Guy who runs it knows us by now. Smooth every time. See you next year.

Kitchen had everything we needed - microwave, fridge, kettle, stovetop. We made breakfast most mornings and saved the eating out for dinners. The AC units (multiple!) kept the place perfectly cool even during peak afternoon heat. Check-in was simple - got our code ahead of time, walked right in. No reception desk drama, no waiting around. The building felt secure and well-maintained. One thing I appreciated: genuinely non-smoking rooms. I'm sensitive to it and I've been burned before by places that claim to be smoke-free but clearly aren't. This was legitimately fresh and clean. Parking on the street was easy - always found a spot nearby for free. We used the BBQ area one evening which was a nice touch. Grabbed some meat from the supermarket, had a proper Israeli mangal experience.

The apartment felt like an actual home. Big living area where the kids could spread out with their tablets while my wife and I sat on the balcony with wine. Speaking of the balcony - it's huge. Like, put-a-table-and-four-chairs huge. We ate dinner out there most nights. Practical stuff that mattered to us: Kitchen actually works. Made eggs and coffee every morning, sandwiches for beach days AC is strong (crucial with kids who complain about everything) Hot water was consistent WiFi worked fine for the kids' endless YouTube Parking right outside, free, never had issues Location is a bit set back from the main tourist strip which we actually preferred. Quiet at night, kids slept well. But still walkable to everything - beach, mall, restaurants. We drove to Dolphin Reef and the Underwater Observatory, easy 10 minutes. Only heads up: it's not a hotel, so no daily housekeeping or room service. We didn't care - grabbed extra towels at the start and we were fine. If you need someone making your bed every day this isn't for you. The guy who manages the place was responsive when we had a question about the TV remote (took us a minute to figure out the satellite). Definitely booking here again next summer. The kids are already asking when we're going back.
