Absolutely fantastic spot. A real gem. Great location, only half hour away from Geiranger village, and an easy drive with beautiful views. The place also has beautiful views, and is very well equipped with great facilities, good rooms, good everything. Jan the host was super helpful and great communicator. He recommended a walk nearby which was wonderful, knew a lot about the area. This was a fantastic spot.

We stayed at the Apartment. It was cosy, nice and clean, and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and helpful, one of the huts had heating problems and he upgraded us to the apartment which was lovely.

“Paradies with fjordview”
Beautiful view on the fjord, even some goats are still there in summertime, they underline the great nature at Hesthaug Gaard. The host was reachable at any times and gives perfect recommendations for trips. Koselig hytte!

Very comfortable apartment in absolutely beautiful location. Views from the property are stunning. Warm welcome from 13th generation host, who recommended an amazingly beautiful hike just a couple of kilometres further along the hillside.
