This modern, 3-star hotel is located in the Wasserzell district of the Bavarian university town of Eichstätt, amidst the Altmühl Valley Nature Park. Rooms were extensively refurbished during the winter 2013/2014. The Hirschenwirt is a family-friendly hotel which provides a suitable base for activity holidays in the Naturpark Altmühltal (Altmühl Valley Nature Park). From the hotel, hikers, cyclists, canoeists and general holidaymakers can easily explore the beautiful natural surrounding countryside. The restaurant serves hearty, traditional, Bavarian cuisine. It uses fresh ingredients from the region. The Hirschenwirt is also an ideal venue for hosting business events and presentations, thanks to the well-equipped seminar rooms. The nature park also makes the hotel popular for outdoor activities and corporate team-building weekends. The property is 4 km away from Eichstätt. Guests can park for free directly at the Hirschenwirt.

“Great family run hotel!”
Super family run small hotel, friendly hosts, very clean, great bavarian food and beer at their restaurant, delicious breakfast, comfy rooms, and gorgeous Central location between legoland, playmobil, (for the kids), and Munich. 3rd time we went, and will go again.

We are Ukrainian volunteers and we are evacuating horses. We have a big car. and we were able to park safely in the hotel car park. The apartment was lovely, large luxury suite with 2 rooms, 2 toilets and a large shower. The garden in the hotel is very nice and cozy. The hotel staff are very friendly and kind. Chef - gave us a lot of time, treated us to beer, the food is very tasty, very large portions in the hotel restaurant. Recommend to everyone, families, groups of friends or people of age. Here everyone will feel comfortable, tasty and convenient.

“Really nice accomodation to use as a base for an active vacation.”
Clean and well-maintained place. Despite its relatively remote location from the centre of Eichstätt, the place was very easy to find. Perfect for an active vacation.
