Offering panoramic views over the wide valley, Sonnblick enjoys a quiet location, a 15-minute walk from the centre of Ehrwald and 400 metres from the ski bus stop. It offers apartments and rooms. Each apartment comes with a dishwasher, a balcony or a terrace, satellite TV and a bathroom. The double rooms offer a balcony, satellite TV and a bathroom but no kitchen. Ski equipment can be stored in a separate room on site, featuring a ski boot dryer. Fresh bread rolls can be delivered to your apartment every morning. A restaurant and a supermarket are just a 5-minute walk away. Guests have free access to the indoor pool and in winter, to an ice rink as well. The Zugspitzbahn cable car and the Ehrwalderalm Ski Area can be reached by car in 5 to 7 minutes. The Wetterstein ski lift is just a 2-minute drive or bus ride away. Within a 5-minute drive, you can also reach the Tiroler Zugspitz Golf Course.

I highly recommend a stay at the Sonnblick. I had the double room and loved how everything was beautiful and well thought through (it’s the details that matter after all!) amWhile it doesn‘t have a full kitchen, it has all you need to make breakfast (incl. boiling eggs and a toaster). And wine glasses for a relaxed evening on the balcony. I‘m looking forward to my next stay there!

“Wish we’d stayed longer”
Only stayed for one night but wished we could’ve stayed longer. Lovely town, beautiful setting, and the house has a great location slightly up the hill with a nice view of the valley. Modern, clean, quiet and comfortable beds. Lovely hosts.

We arrived very late in the evening but got sent instructions to get the key and fill out a check in form. Very proactive and helpful, lovely. Each room has a designated spot to park the car just at the front door. The room is decorated nicely with modern, solid furniture, and plenty of amenities like a coffee machine, toaster, cups, etc. are available. The bathroom is new and we also had a terrace with great views of Ehrwald.
