Open from winter 2017 / 2018 and located in Ehrwald in the Tyrol Region, 2.9 km from Tiroler Zugspitzbahn Cable Car, Mellow Mountain Hostel features a sauna a steambath and ski storage space. Free private parking is available on site and there is free WiFi access throughout the property. Every room is equipped with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. There is a shared kitchen at the property. The area is popular for skiing, mountainbiking, climbing and hiking. The Ehrwalder Alm Cable Car is 5 km from Mellow Mountain Hostel and the climbing gym is 0.5 km away. For guests of the Mellow Mountain Hostel the entrance to the climbing hall in Ehrwald is free of charge. Additionally guests can participate in guided hiking tours. “Amazing staff and very nice people staying there too.”
Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the cooking facilities were very nice. They were very understanding and accommodating when we accidentally washed away the receipt for our bouldering session and allowed us to get it reimbursed. The darts board was also very fun to play with.

We loved everything, our room had direct view for the beautiful mountains surrounding the town. Beds were comfy and the ambiance/vibe were quite special 🥰 would go back in a heart beat! Parking available was a great plus for us.

Perfect location with a short walk from the train station and to the shops. Had a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to chill out in the evenings with a darts board, record player and board games too. Staff were helpful with any questions I had for hikes and things to do. Would highly recommended and look forward to staying again :)

Thank you very much for the hospitality! Everything was absolutely great! The lady at the reception was very friendly, kind, and ready to help. I wanted to climb Zugspitze, but I wasn't sure about the weather conditions and whether it would be possible to ascend. She called everyone she could to help me with the climb. The hostel also has a nice and clean sauna (regular and hammam) at a very affordable price. Unfortunately, I didn't try the breakfast because I woke up very early and prepared my own food. Thank you very much once again, when I'm in Ehrwald again, I will definitely come back!

The mountain view of the public space is super amazing. The house is very luxurious, traditional Bavarian style. They even have a sauna and damproom for relaxation. Great experience.
