“homey friendly hosts”

all basics were there, really homey feeling, as if you are staying at your friends or relatives, Host were really friendly!!

Easy to find, good parking in the area, nice staff which showed us the room, quite place. Room was clean, beds comfortable, bathroom clean, no problems with warm water. Cosy rooms and the separate kitchen are situated in the old rural farm buildings which is was very nice. The only thing we noticed was quite low temperatures both in rooms and kitchen. We were there at the beginning of April.

Countryside living in old fashoned restyled barn house next to main house. Separate kitchen area with large table and place for many persons to sit. Nice espresso machine.

“Simple, cosy guesthouse with everything a family needs.”

We stayed at Trandafir Guesthouse for three nights while visiting LEGOLAND Billund with our children, and it was a lovely experience. I had originally booked a family room with a shared kitchen, but on arrival we were kindly offered an upgrade (due to last minute cancellation) to the whole house for an extra fee - such a pleasant surprise! The apartment was clean, warm and quiet, with everything we needed for travelling with kids: a kitchen, washing machine and plenty of space to relax after long days in the park. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the location (about 20 km from LEGOLAND) was perfect for day trips. It’s not a luxury stay, it’s simple and homely, but that’s exactly what made it perfect for us. Highly recommend to families who prefer calm surroundings and a bit of independence while travelling.

Lovely place in a quiet area, with wonderful people looking after it. We had a great time! We visited as two families (2+2) and stayed in one building with two separate rooms, each with its own toilet and shower, plus a private kitchen. Perfect setup for us—highly recommend!

We had a nice 3-night stay—everything was clean, quiet, as described. We will come again.

Good location, good for families, stayed in the family room and had a lot of room even though there were 6 of us.

Room was very cold. Discount tickets (50%) to Legoland were not offered even they were promised beforehand. Electricity had a lot of problems, it was breaking many times. Just some of facts to mention. Biggest reason for bad feeling is related to house keepers and their lies. When we complained about our experiences finally to Booking.com, house keeper answered that we were just drank and that was the reason why we expressed our disappointment. And we are family with small child and not any alcohol was used during our trip. Based on that, I would like to give one tip to other travellers: choose some other guest house if you can, and if you are talking about compensations, ask them literally because otherwise promised things do not mean anything. And to give some perspective to this feedback: there were tho families that we met during our stay: other one wanted to leave in the middle of the booking and other one did not want to stay at all when they saw the room.

Compared to other properties it was not expensive.

The best place to stay not far from Legoland (Bilund). Quiet place, nice hosts and good coffee in the morning.

The beds were super comfortable and the host very nice. The courtyard was a nice sitting area. The kitchen is shared between the two rooms, but is fine. It's easy to park your car.

Lovely and highly recommended stay if you are looking for something near the airport Billund and/or Legoland. The communication with the host Trandafir was easy and very nice - we arrived after midnight, but he didn´t mind at all and was available for the check-in. The room was small, but had a nice decor and everything we needed for the night, from very comfy beds over enough coat hangers to a nice shower with complimentary shower gel. Although we didn´t use it, there is a well-equipped kitchen available for the guests. The opportunity to receive a discount on Legoland tickets was very, very appreciated =)! Thanks again Trandafir!

Picturesque situation, interesting buildings.

Very nice beds, good quality shampoo and conditioner, good hairdryer, many kitchen facilities, nice coffee, big garden with good furniture, free parking

If you have a car is a good solution. Really quite place, just 20 min far from Billund airport and Lego experience
