“I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a family stay.”

That you couldn’t smell the bad air in the room coming from the corridor and the bar area.

The staff is great and very friendly. It´s quite good value for money, everything quite simple though and out of date. But nevertheless, it´s clean and working. What else do you wish for 47 € in Denmark? It´s only a few km away from Haervejen and a nice alternative if you don´t want to sleep in the official harbourage.

“Hotel Booking Experience”

We booked a room with 2 single beds. It was a shared bathroom. The bathroom/ toilet was so clean. There was tissues, sanitizers, hand soap available. Warm / Cold shower available as well. The room was not the big but its comfortable. Bed sheets are smelling fresh and nice. There was a sink and a closet inside the room. The staff who accomodated us was very kind and friendly as well and speaks English, We didn't have difficulties with our stay.

Very good service and recommendations from the owner. He gave us the bus schedule (bus stop at 1 min walk) and the route to the bakery/ supermarket (+-10). The room had tea and coffee and a good bathroom.

“Good place to sleep on a budget”

The rooms offer basic amenities suitable for the price. The town is very small, so having a car is convenient. By car you can reach easily to Billund, Vejle and Kolding, that are the main spots in the area for a short visit.

“If you really have no other option”

We needed to pay more, it is an non smoking but the whole building including the room was smelling like smoke! The bathroom and toilet needs to be upgraded for that price.

Room was very clean and tidy! Super comfortable bed!The host was extremely helpful he was even able to give me Danish currency on site.

Near to Legoland

It was really clean, the room and bathroom we got was very spacious. The staff was very kind

The owner was very kind and accommodating, offering assistance in finding a place to eat and even offered to order for us since we were not fluent in Danish. The location was great as we were planning a trip to Legoland the following day. Check-in was easy and free parking was nice to have.

Nothing! If it is not because of the location, i would not book it! We stayed 1 night but Paid the 4nights stay - that is the reason he collects payment right after you arrive - no refund.

The owner was so friendly and even gave us a free upgrade to the biggest room they had. It really meant a lot to us and we are very thankful! The transport routes are good and the local area is lovely. The we got was so nice and was so roomy! We even had our own bathroom with the upgrade. Thank you Egtved Hotel! ❤️
