This Edmonton hotel is just off Calgary Trail North Highway 2, near the West Edmonton Mall and the University of Alberta. Free WiFi and parking are provided. Upon check in I booked thru a third party. @booking.com and it stated there was no deposit required when I went in being a visible minority and having luggage I feel the front desk lady was discriminating against me although there is no visible posting and my credit card was used to keep my room they declined me, and then shouted at me for their negligence on fulfilling their duty legally to post said rates otherwise that would be considered fraudulent activity and would have to be audited and required to submit all deposit in the CRA which I'm sure they do not . Also while waiting for management "the owner came in with his family" and then proceeded to shout at me I told them it's illegal to ask for money with no valid proof or legable documents pertaining their said clause. Upon my wait I seen them rent a room to a suspected hooker and John and charge them $67.00 and then try resell me the same room.im thinking how many poor people did they do this too .?? Beware of bodily fluids especially in this dodgy area and please refuse payment of deposit as the first lady said she doesn't care about third party rules and legislation and quite frankly I'm tired of these owners not complying with AHS or the laws and bylaws of countries they reside in.

There was a train in the middle of the night that woke us up.I think it should be on the booking site that train tracks are directly behind the hotel.
