“Authentic family hospitality, refined comfort, and breathtaking beauty”
I am honestly lost for words when I think about our stay at Varosi 4 Seasons in Edessa. The hotel is a beautifully restored stone and wood mansion, full of character and warmth. The interiors are tasteful, the furniture is elegant, and the cozy lounge with the fireplace makes you want to slow down and simply enjoy the atmosphere. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the balcony view over the valley and lush green mountains was unforgettable. Breakfast was genuinely delicious, generous, high-quality, and the kind of morning spread that feels carefully prepared rather than “standard hotel.” The location is also perfect, right in the historic Varosi area and within walking distance to the waterfalls and the centre. But the real star of our stay was the people. It is clearly family run, and within minutes you feel less like a guest and more like you have been welcomed into a home. Every interaction was warm, thoughtful and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s the kind of hospitality that stays with you. We are beyond grateful and cannot wait to return again soon.

“Edessa overnight visit”
I had a view over the countryside from my hotel balcony. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was good. I had a wait for the transport away from Edessa and I was invited to spend time in the patio area overlooking the countryside. A real pleasure.

“Just perfect”
Excellent location. A hotel with charm and style. Amazing views of the valley. Awesome breakfast. Lovely rooms with good showers. Enjoyed our late afternoon drinks in the patio. Michaela was an excellent host and prepared amazing cocktails.

Varosi 4 Seasons is full of charm – a beautiful old building that has been lovingly kept, with real character and history in every corner. The views are absolutely amazing, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. The staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. A truly memorable and atmospheric place – highly recommended if you’re looking for something unique and authentic.

Loved Edessa. Shops and proximity to other provincial towns and the beautiful waterfalls and water canals running thru the town and beautiful surrounding green fruit trees. However Varosi should consider new softer mattresses.

Varosi 4 Seasons didn't just meet but well exceeded our expectations. This family run boutique hotel is in a beautiful historical building restored with love and meticulous attention to detail. The building has many nooks and crannies to settle into. The rooms have all the modcoms, but in an authentic style. The outdoor areas are amazing with breathtaking view of the valley and the mountains, reaching all the way to the sea. The service was an absolutely excellent example of Greek hospitality! We would be delighted to be able to visit again, in spring to enjoy the stone fruit trees in full colour and in winter to enjoy the snow. Thank you so much 💕
