Set on a lush hillside, 7 km away from the town of Edessa, Guesthouse Kastro is a traditional complex offering rooms with a fireplace. It includes restaurant and a bar decorated in rustique style. Kastro rooms feature dark-wood furnishings and open out to a private balcony overlooking the green-covered mountains. They all come with air conditioning, mini fridge and flat-screen TV. In the town of Edessa, you can visit its famous waterfalls, which are the biggest in Greece. Kaimaktsalan Ski Centre is 23 km away, while the city of Thessaloniki is at 80 km. “A beautiful hotel in the heart of nature”
A lovely family-run hotel located in a charming village just 15 minutes from Edessa, offering spectacular views. The rooms are beautiful, clean, well-equipped, and each has a balcony. On the ground floor there’s a popular tavern, which we unfortunately missed as we had already eaten in town—but judging by the number of guests dining there, the food must be excellent. The staff were warm, welcoming, and approachable. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Edessa.

Very cosy room with a fire place and a beautiful view and a restaurant bellow with tasty food. Half an hour away by car with a scenic drive to the Pozar Baths.

“A lovely stop in the country with a good restaurant”
We originally picked this hotel as budget options in Edessa were full. It was a very good decision as it turned out to be a nice peaceful location & a welcome break from the cities. It is an easy drive into Edessa & also to the Arcturos Bear Sanctuary. Both brilliant places to see. We had a good, comfortable room with spacious balcony looking out over the countryside. The owners were friendly & welcoming. There is an adjacent car parking space. We ate twice in their restaurant downstairs (the only option if you don't want to drive). It is open every night & serves delicious traditional food. There are plenty of vegetarian dishes & we particularly liked their beetroot salad.

Wondeful place! Clean and large numbers with big balcony and amazing view. Delicios food in the restaurant, mediterranean kitchen. Cute and friendly dog in the yard. 10-15 min from the center and waterfalls by car, 30 min from hot springs.
