“Not going there again.”
Stayed at the hotel before, but never in the basement that they call sousterain. There is no daylight coming into the room. I had to open the very small window. The is situated along a busy provincial N-road, so you can hear the traffic going over a bridge in that road very well, which is unpleasant.

Hotel Hof van Holland is a very good place to stay in Edam. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the entire property has a pleasant atmosphere. The location is excellent, right next to the town center, which makes it easy to reach all major attractions on foot. Breakfast is tasty and offers enough variety. It is a solid choice for a peaceful getaway.

Location is great and there is a free parking close to the hotel. Actually, the whole town is lovely and definitely worth a visit. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the coffee was excellent. There is a coffee machine and a kettle for hot water in the room, which was a nice convenience.
