The hosts were very kind and helpful, welcoming. They had a useful tip for eveything we needed to know. The place was quite and peaceful, so close to nature. We could see from our window several animals, something that the whole family liked. A unique experience!

“Absolutely charming”
The room is clean and very comfortable. There is everything you need for a perfect stay (kitchen, terrace, TV). The sorroundings of the property are very picturesque, the Ijsselmeer is only a few steps away. The hosts are helpful, kind and discreet. They have bicycles for rent. The place is really nice and quiet. You will not regret to stay there!

Beautiful, comfortable and modern apartment, just as on the pictures, very well furbished with everything you need. The friendly owners live in the same house, Henk picked me up from the bus station and could always be reached for any questions or advice. Vielen herzlichen Dank! Small outside seating place. The location is at the edge of pretty Edam, very quiet, with nature at your doorstep , close to the „Strandbad“ and a campsite. Edam is a small and rather quiet historic town, well worth visiting, far less touristic than Volendam, which was very crowded when I was there. 25km from Amsterdam. Also an ideal base if you want to visit Amsterdam, but stay in a quieter place. Many more nice towns/villages and places of interest in Noord Holland are close, also ideal for biking of course with many bike trails. 15min walking distance from the centre of Edam, bus stop 25 min walking distance or 10 min by bike. I can fully recommend the apartment! :)
