It is a delightful house - full of character and charm, tranquil and comfortable, and in a lovely setting. The garden is pretty - enjoyed sitting in the sun and reading, whilst chatting to the hens. Kristien and Niko are the perfect hosts, and kindly provided stroopwaffel, Sunday croissants, and eggs from the hens, as well as lots of interesting local information and history.

“A relaxing five days in Edam.”
It was spacious with an old world charter. Nice garden with lovely, friendly chickens. The hosts were very nice too. Good location for exploring North Holland.

Beautiful and quiet location, with very friendly and attentive hosts. The kitchen is very well set up and the apartment has all the necessary equipment for cooking. The beds were comfy.
