Overview
This hostel is set in a futuristic building neighbouring Lake Echternach. It features shared dormitories with free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped sports centre including a 14 metres high climbing wall. The dormitories at Youth Hostel Echternach each have their own bathroom facilities. They have bunk beds and guests can store their luggage in the cabinets. Facilities for disabled guests are also available. Breakfast is available in the morning. At the end of a busy day, they can relax and have a drink or snack in the hostel’s cafetaria. Eternach centre city is less 2 km away from the hostel. The Deutsch-Luxemburgischer Naturpark is 8 km away.

“Excellent hostel”
Free breakfast was very nice, the location is close to the Mullerthal trail hike. Receptionist Alysson is very friendly and helpful! Bedrooms are very small, for 4 people, so it is more cozy and easier to meet people.

“Good and confortable”
Modern building and big spaces. The rooms look really nice and the location is very convenient. Also good views to a lake with a beautiful walkway around.

I didn't stay long, arrived late at night and departed in the following morning. The first good thing was that although I arrived very late, I mean, after the limit for checkin, a staff member came down and checked me in. For what I saw, it seems an excellent hostel for those who want to do activities inside or around it. It might be a bit off the centre if all you want is a bed to sleep. The hostel seemed absolutely clean and everything was in order, nothing broken of too used.

Great hostel for all ages and nationalities! We had a good night’s sleep and enjoyed the many common/open spaces around the hostel. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was also decent, standard hostel food but better than average coffee and fruit! Thanks a bunch!

Reception staff were fantastic. I was keen to practice speaking Lëtzebuergesch (as I don't get many chances to) and they were really encouraging and patient :)

“sport outdoor lakeside very nice youth hostel, place to go!”
Very nice hostel, situated at lake, very close yo city and mullerthal trail. Really good facilities like volleyball courts outside, indoor futball/basketball courts Great staff team very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Good breakfast and diners! Go to hotel for outdoor and sports people!

“Good location for hikes”
Affordable. Good location. Convenient. Toilet in room with no hand soap. Breakfast very minimalistic and not many veg options (cereal, yogurt, fruits, bread) however cannot complain given included in price.
