Surrounded by forest, Hotel Boschzicht is situated between the cities of Meppel and Hoogeveen. There is a lovely terrace to sit out when weather is nice. The hotel rooms have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. For electronic bikes, Boschzicht has a special charger. There is a secured motor and bike storage as well. After a walk through the beautiful area, a warm cup of coffee with local pie await you in the restaurant. You can also get lunch and dinner here and choose from various tasty dishes. In less than 10 minutes, you can reach Hoogeveen by car or bus. There is a bus stop nearby. The hotel is above a busy restaurant and bar. Caution! Our restaurant is closed on Monday, to checkin in the hotel we will provide our contact details in a private message once the booking is made and confirmed.

“Fantastic place, well worth a visit. If you have a car, better still.”
We arrived the day before a bank holiday and needed a taxi the next morning. The manager tried to get a taxi but couldn't so he arranged alternative transport for us.

“Excellent for a quick stay at low rates”
A quick decision based on the surrounding hotels in the area concvenient for my stay led me to this hotel. With a late arrival (around 22.00) I had asked for a preparation of something to bring to my room. On arrival I was nicely welcomed and an emergency plate quickly prepared with the heart. Hotel and roomwith a two star standard but kind and warm service. I would be curious to come back an evening and discover the exiting steaks that they were preparing in the drying fridge. Breakfast was very complete and nice and the bed comfortable
