Overview
Crowded House is a family-run, modern hotel situated opposite the ferry terminal in the centre of Eceabat, the closest town to the Gallipoli battlefields and the ANZAC Cove. The front desk is available 24 hours a day. Hotel Crowded House offers simply decorated, en suite rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Daily maid service is provided. Free buffet breakfast is served every morning. During your stay in Eceabat, you can snorkel over a World War I wreck, relax on white sandy beaches and experience true Turkish hospitality. The Crowded House staff will be happy to help with information and advice. The Çanakkale-Eceabat ferry is a 25-minute journey across the Dardanelles.

I had a room at front with view of the ferry terminal and the Dardanelles. Staff were very helpful, though most with very minimal English. On the side of the strait with access to the war graves and memorials. Eceabat is a quiet village but plenty of restaurants along the foreshore. DO NOT MISS the excellent feature on the foreshore with bronze sculptures showing that the Turkish and allied troops fought in trenches only 8 metres apart. Also has a walk through representation of the Dardanelles, with relief sculptures showing where mines were laid, and the towns either side of you. Eceabat was where my Anzac Day Dawn service tour commwnced, a short walk from the hotel. Also just a very pleasant ferry ride across the Dardanelles to the larger town of Çanakkale.

“Convenient, good location friendly and helpful management.”
Centrally located to see all the sights of Gallipoli. Found it on the Anzac website. Breakfast good, tea and coffee all day and cake.

“We had a lovely stay in Eceabat”
Great location, very near the ferry. The room was a bit small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and parking was right next door.

“Visiting Gallipolli battlefields a great place to stay”
Location..practically on the sea front near the ferry ..but best of all I left my bag with my passport in it on my chair at breakfast and was out all day walking the sites of the battles of Gallipolli and the staff rescued my bag and kept it safe for me at the reception desk till I came back to the hotel after a long day ..I am so grateful

“Great friendly staff”
Thank you to all the staff. I was unwell and they helped organise an ambulance to the hospital. We extended our stay by 4 days. They were extremely accomadating, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great a variety of food and drinks.

The hotel is in a great place to visit Gallipoli which is about 15 minutes drive away. It is a basic no frills hotel, clean hotel with friendly staff , turkish buffet breakfast. Carparking available near the hotel. Right in town easy walking to cafes restaurants.

Great location looking back to the Asian side. The facilities were great and Paulie the owner was such a legend to talk to and help organise everything for an Anzac tour which exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend.

Perfect location to explore the local village and the Gallipoli peninsula. As kiwis the name drew us in immediately. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit old but fantastic value for money. Beaches for swimming are nearby. Many good restaurants walking distance from the hotel. The town was much less touristy which was a nice change for us coming from Istanbul.

Nice hotel at the center od Eceabat, easy to find and near ferryboat. We used our car to exploring Galipoli peninsula and to go to beaches, and for visiting city of Chanakkale it is better to go by foot (via ferry) as ticket is less then euro per person
