“A cuddly cottage”

Everything. Maggie is a great host; she takes care of you and she is always careful to make you feel good and welcome. The "cottage" has everything you need as described on Booking; special mention to the veranda on which you can have lunch, dinner and spend beautiful moments of relaxation. The area is very safe, sometime you have the feeling you could go everywhere leaving the apartment entrance opened.

“Anguilla’s finest!”

From booking through to leaving Anguilla, everything about Moonlight Cottage was perfect. Sitting a few minutes walk from one of Anguilla’s many pristine beaches and overlooking the bay, Moonlight Cottage is an absolutely delightful home away from home. You will not find a better host than Maggie. She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, keeping us updated with regards to Anguilla’s COVID entry requirements, to arranging a rental car for us, sharing excellent recommendations and making sure our stay at Moonlight Cottage was one to remember. The cottage itself is as you see in the property’s pictures. It is extremely clean, and Maggie provides everything you’d need for your stay, from beach towels to cooking utensils, soaps to washing powder. It was all just so… easy. The bed is comfy, the shower hot and had good pressure, and the property has ample parking. The cottage is located in one of the island’s nicer villages in my opinion. All of Maggie’s neighbours are super friendly - from waving hello to us each morning, to offering to help hang our washing on the line - it was one of those unique experiences you only find somewhere like Anguilla, and specifically Moonlight Cottage. There are a few great places to eat a short walk away, and that end of the island is closest to some of Anguilla’s best beaches - Shoal Bay East, Captain’s Bay and Junkhole Bay to name a few. It’s also close to the island’s only museum (which is definitely worth a visit) and to a local supermarket. We absolutely fell in love with Anguilla and that can largely be attributed to Maggie making our trip so seamless and enjoyable. I’d reminded Anguilla and Moonlight Cottage to anyone. So much better than a soulless hotel. Do not hesitate to book a stay here, it’s absolutely fantastic!
