“Nice hostel in the Valley of Jyrgalan”
Lovely little hostel with great views from the garden. never saw the host and it was super chill. nice facilities. Had free tea And coffee and great breakfast. Priced a bit higher than most hostels in central Asia but it was worth it for a night. recommend. We had a 4 bed dorm with two singles and a bunk bed. loads of room. Comfy beds

“Great hostel experience in Jyrgalan”
Great homely feel to the place. Nice kitchen and catering area and space to socialise with other guests. Showers & toilets very clean and with shampoos, soaps & towels all included. Dorms comfy. Location very good in town and also amongst nature in Jyrgalan.

“Decent for a short stay in Jyrgalan”
Great breakfast and they were happy to make a vegetarian breakfast. Kitchen had what you need to cook - in Jyrgalan, there aren’t many options for eating other than cooking so this is an important plus. Common area was nice for hanging out in between hikes.

“Cute and cosy hostel”
What a sweet and cosy little hostel! We loved our stay here and it's been one of the best hostels we've stayed at in Central Asia. Well laid out dorms, that were clean and comfortable. The bathroom worked well and the shower pressure was great too. The communal area/dining and kitchen were very homely and the setting was so beautiful! Staff aren't always present but generally someone pops up when you need a hand and the host can be messaged and all staff were still so kind and helpful. I also really appreciated the information and resources on the area available in the hostel and the hostel is in a great location. It is a little pricier compared to other hostels in the region (say Karakol) but you can see that Jyrgalan is trying to build its tourism industry and it's such a worthy destination. So the price is still fair. I know it wouldn't be easy but a little outdoor seating area would make the hostel perfect, but you can still see gorgeous views from inside anyway. Excellent stay!

“Excellent staff”
It is a lovely guest house. Most of all the staff are very friendly, helpful and looked after me when I got sick including arranging a doctor’s visit and translating for me! Breakfast is nice.

Guest house Darya is very clean and cosy. The owner and all of the staff are very nice and make you feel more than welcome. The dinner and breakfast were also great. The surrounding nature is wonderful and there are tons of places worth seeing.

More like a holiday house than a hostel - but with breakfast service! You could stay here with a bigger family or group of friends, but when I was here there was only one other guest - so each of us had their own room. Kitchen with everything you need, and there are some small shops nearby - but don't expect a wide variety of things there and better bring your own food. Or even better: visit the Peak Lodge (20 min walking) of the same company and eat in their restaurant - delicious food and stylish atmosphere. The staff is amazing - both at Darya and at Peak Lodge. They organize tours + trips (I did a horse trek, but you can hike on your own as well) and treat you more like a friend than a customer. I enjoyed my time at Darya + Peak very much and will definitely come back - perhaps next time in winter...
