Room was large and clean. The motel is right on a lake and they have canoes, deck chairs, and other places to hang out on the shore. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Motel restaurant is good too.

We stayed at Deerhurst the night before and it was lovely. To celebrate our anniversary we stayed another night at Spring resort. Our room was so clean we were able to use amenities, sit on the porch and take in the scenery of the property. We had a great sleep as the beds were very comfortable. My husband said he would stay here again when he takes our sons fishing. Having a restaurant on site is perfect.

“Best roadside, 'nature' hotel for me. Will definitly return!”
The room and hotel are on the simple side, but they have it all! Just the way I like it. Amazing surroundings, a 'private' lake with a small beach, free kayaks, seating & BBQ areas. Very quiet, despite being very close to the road - just make sure to get a top-floor room. Ducks, geese, snapping turtles, frogs, and squirrels running around. Very friendly staff (family-run). Very short drive to Algonquin Park trails—they offer discount road-60 permits. They even gave me one for free.
