“Lovely little cottage near the beach”

Lovely little spot in beautiful Durras North. The cottage was so well equipped, with lots of nice touches provided like plunger coffee, milk, chocolate, different teas and fruit. Lots of wildlife around and beautiful walks to do on the beach or in the bush. An easy drive down from Canberra, I'd definitely recommend it for a weekend trip away.

Very helpful and friendly hosts. The cabin is close to the beach and walking tracks. Abundant wildlife. The hosts let me charge my EV from their home. Excellent, detailed instructions on how to get there. (Unfortunately I did not see these until later).

The accommodation had all the essentials that were needed for a relaxing weekend in the beautiful surrounds of North Durras. Victor, our host and his partner, were welcoming, they accommodated our request for an earlier check-in, and gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit and see. The cottage itself was clean, and we had all we needed. The firepit made for an enjoyable evening in the backyard, with kangaroos present by our side 😊 having the opportunity to hand-feed lorikeets in the morning was also memorable. The cottage is within walking distance to the beach. I enjoyed the reading material that was provided, as well! Can never go wrong with a couple of interesting Quarterly Essays! 😊

Location is excellent. It’s a very quick, beautiful drive to pebbly beach and depot beach. There is an abundance of wildlife around and some great walks starting from the property. Victor was a fantastic host who obviously wants guests to enjoy their stay while respecting their privacy.
