Situated in the peaceful centre of Durbuy overlooking the medieval castle, this hotel offers rooms with modern-style décor. The entire main building of Hotel Sanglier, including the 2 restaurants, wellness centre, bar and rooms has been renovated in April 2018. Some of the rooms at the hotel include a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a seating area. All rooms are equipped with a safety deposit box. Some of the rooms at Sanglier des Ardennes boast views over the Ourthe River. One of the hotel's restaurants, La Bru'sserie, offers a selection of tapas and sharing food from around the world and a local gin from the Ardennes. Comfortable hotel. Nicely decorated in a good location. Staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were spacious with good bed/bathrooms and nice amenities. Valet service.

“Good but too expensive”
The hotel is very nice, right in the center and near all the facilities (it's a tiny town anyway). The rooms are specious, nice and very clean. You can make your own fresh juice which is a plus. But small details make a difference, see below.

From the moment I arrived the reception staff was exceptionally friendly and unprofessional. they went out of their way to assist with all my requests a special shout out to the staff member and receptionist who brought eggs for blankets for the bed my room late at night I really really appreciated that thoughtful gesture. It was a small but impactful act of service that made a big difference to my comfort to my stay a very big thank you to them for going above and beyond. Room was very comfortable and clean especially the bathroom which was both spacious and well maintained. The breakfast service was wonderful. The breakfast stuff was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful. The quality of the food with excellent and breakfast itself definitely one of the highlights of my day however I will suggest improving the table arrangements. My table was a bit small, making it uncomfortable to fit all the plates and items, especially considering the variety available it would be great if the hotel could either offer large tables or switch to table service instead of the current self service set up at least for some items despite this the staff truly deserves a round of applause for the professionalism and service during breakfast they went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant experience.
