Excellent location for doing a cross country journey. Everything as per the description and photos. Room - spacious, comfy, AC and as described Resteraunt - good selection from their wood fired grill. Decent prices Parking - plenty of parking Would happily stay here again - busy with lots of teavellers and business people. Reception team spoke very little English (the least in our whole trip of Uruguay) but never causes a problem!

Stylish and comfortable hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great food from the restaurant. Comfortable bed and a lovely pool. Also Duranzo is a lovely town, make sure you have a milanesesa from Pepe’s on the plaza , so good!

Hotel Santa Cristina is a stylish and comfortable hotel with a beautiful pool and the bed was so comfortable. Also the restaurant serves lovely food with friendly and helpful staff. For the price breakfast is included which makes it good value in my opinion.

Breakfast was good, we would have enjoyed more beef, like mince and sausages. Uruguay is renown for its beef, so I feel Hotels are a great place to promote it. We did however had an exelent beef fillet for Lunch at the Hotel's restaurant on the afternoon we arrived. It was a bit expensive but very tasteful.

excellent! Property, rooms, view, swimming pool area, layout, Etc are ALL in Immaculate condition! and well-designed! We're thinking it is a new hotel because it is just gorgeous. Everything was bright & clean & classy. Super comfortable bed and duvet & pillows. Staff helpful with all questions and needs. Swimming pool area is lovely but pool not heated. Breakfast had a great selection (Baked goods, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, coffee, juice, eggs, bacon) Nice restaurant on site with good menu. Although some of the food was over salted.

“Lovely hotel that feels like an English country inn”

The location was great for us because we wanted a place to relax for the last two days of our vacation. The hotel is outside of town, surrounded by beautiful farmland and very quiet. The lobby is beautiful and comfortable and well decorated. It feels like an elegant English country inn with a fireplace and book case and art. My very favorite thing was that they build a fire in the fireplace at night, and I loved reading on the cozy couch by the fire. There is also a pool outside, and many chairs and places to sit and relax on nice days. The service was cordial. And they accepted our dog. They put guests with pets in the exterior rooms with entrances from the outside, which is perfect.

Excellent hotel. We stayed for 1 night and had a lovely experience. Despite being next to the motorway it's very quiet, so ideal to relax in the lovely countryside of Uruguay.
