We love the location, especially close to Teatro Ricardo Castro. Cool and interesting old building. Is that city really over 450 years old?

The location is outstanding being right beside the cathedral and in the main street of the historic town. Exploring was easy and convenient. The building is really atmospheric. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful building right in the main square. Comfortable, roomy view. We had a room on the 2nd floor with a little balcony backing onto the back street so quiet. Loved being able to walk to many splendid restaurants and museums, squares, etc. Street entertainment out the front door Staff, as with everyone in Durangi, were very welcoming. Staff eager to ensure we had a great stay. The only small thing is ... don't expect to hot water first thing in the morning; it comes but may take a while. Highly recommend.

The hotel itself is a beautiful work of art , a delight to look at , furnished in a very traditional style. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Great location, walking distance to many museums, cathedrals, shopping and restaurants. The coffee shop in the hotel has good coffee and tea. The hotel was built in the mid 1850’s and has been remodelled. It is quaint. The complimentary hot breakfast was good.

I stayed here mainly because it’s pet friendly and they’re really are, I took my dog and my cat. The hotel is lovely and the architecture is interesting. The rooms are clean and they have enough space to be comfortable.

The colonial building is quite attractive and is located on a pedestrian only street. The rooms are nice but apart from having a high ceiling and exposed wooden beams, they are completely forgettable. The hotel is at best two stars but the price paid one expects much better.

Fantastic staff, genuinely friendly and helpful; location next to the cathedral is perfect; lovely historic building; big rooms. These partly make up for the negatives.

With the exception of the rooms that face the cathedral, the rooms face inward. The rooms were quiet and none of the noise from the street could be heard.
