“Fun place to stay with a lot of personal touches”

Had all you could want and more, books, games, fun coloured room and other items that was a fun change from the norm which is why we decided to go for this place, host was very welcoming and gave some good local knowledge on where to park in town and best way to get there in rush hour etc. A lot of thought and personality has gone into creating this space and making sure everything is covered.

genuinely felt like home. super comfortable. hosts were so lovely. very clean. bathroom was nice, even had a heated towel rack. worth the stay any day of the week. one of the best we've had on our NZ travels.

“Very comfortable stay on the beautiful peninsula”

Mary made us feel so welcome! This was such a comfortable place to stop, close to both wildlife of the peninsula and the city too. The breakfast was wonderful, facilities very clean and comfortable. Mary also gave us some great tips for the Otago farmers market. A great stay!

Mary and her wife are great host, very welcoming and always there to help you. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was great: homemade marmalades, 3 different kinds of bread, yoghurt, different cereals, etc. The neighbourhood is so quiet. There is anything that we don’t like.

Quiet location

Spacious studio located in a quiet residential neighborhood, makes a perfect base to explore the peninsula. Mary the host lives next door, she was lovely and gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was good and plenty. Excellent value for money.

“Great location, warm welcome, cozy and clean apartment”

Very warm welcome from Mary, who showed me around in the apartment and even gave me extremely useful tips for the rest of my trip around NZ. The apartment has a great location midway between Dunedin downtown and the Royal Albatross centre for the penguin event in the evening - you will be grateful you don’t have to drive the whole way back to Dunedin close to midnight! The location is also great for exploring other parts of the peninsula, and trying to spot some sea lions on one of the beaches. The apartment is cozy, has everything you need, and the breakfast was better than in my previous apartments in NZ

We can highly recommend this accommodation. The room is lovingly furnished and we were warmly welcomed by the host. She gave us great tips for the surrounding area. We really enjoyed our stay and the great breakfast. Many thanks again.
