We had a great stay at Maple Rise. The breakfasts were the highlight of each day! It was it a great location fir exploring the Cowichan Valley.

Lauren and Gerry were lovely hosts, the room, the gardens , the view and of course the epic breakfasts were all first class. Ideally situated to explore the wider area. Highly recommended.

It is wonderful location from which to explore the region especially the nearby coves and marinas. The views from our room and the breakfasts provided were exceptional and Lauren and Gerry's hospitality gracious.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Guesthouse with my family, and it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations. It offers not just a comfortable stay but incredible breakfast each morning! Our family was staying for a wedding nearby. If you have an event in Maple Bay, it is the perfect location! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality from Lauren and Gerry made us feel right at home (their communication was also awesome before we had even arrived). The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a restful night's sleep, and the room felt quite cool despite being warm outside. What truly stole the show was the breakfast!! Each morning featured a different array of dishes with fresh juice and coffee that was clearly made with love. We loved our stay at Maple Rise Guesthouse and can't wait for an excuse to come back! Owner was friendly and greeted us upon arrival and discussed breakfast routine for each day, and the ringing of the bell was perfect to let us know our meal was ready and waiting for us! The meals were superb, so healthy and delicious! The beds were comfy, and the property and view was gorgeous. Location was not even 5 minutes from venue.

First breakfast was a bit skimpy but the rest of them more than made up. Anyone with an accessibility issue would have a problem with all the stairs. Good sized comfortable room. Excellent bathroom. Would definitely come back.

This is an exceptional place. The owners are very hospitable and friendly. The breakfast they serve is delicious with some of the vegetables and spices grown in their own garden. It is a peaceful setting with a very nice view. I was able to meditate, contemplate and produced a lot of quality work during my stay, which I really needed to do. From the coffee in the morning to the comfortable bed, I would stay here anytime I could.
