This stay was absolute food for the soul. There is nothing quite like starting the morning with a cup of coffee while looking out over the lake—it was truly out of this world. We even witnessed a Fish Eagle almost catch an Egyptian goose right in front of us! The house itself was lovely, spotless, and the attention to detail was impressive. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a great oven for baking. A perfect, peaceful getaway

A huge bit of heaven in a crazy world! Everything you need is available. It's a beautiful and fun place. The view is awesome. Relax by the fireplace or firepit, lovely walks, kayak and canoe on the lake. The staff are wonderful. We keep coming back!

The Lake House is an idyllic spot right on the lake, with the bonus of otters swimming past which feels pretty special. Deer and blesbok also roam freely around the property, adding to the sense of being immersed in nature. It is close enough to town to be convenient, yet wonderfully secluded and peaceful. Beautiful hiking trails are nearby, making it a perfect base for nature lovers. A truly relaxing and memorable stay.

“Cosy Lakehouse with stunning views”

We visited the Lakehouse for a group getaway and were honestly blown away. The photos really don’t do it justice! The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful — the perfect weekend escape. The house was neat, well-kept, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. The views of the lake were breathtaking. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. One thing we really appreciated is that, while it feels secluded and tranquil, it’s still very close to the Dullstroom town making it easy to pop out for anything we needed.

The Lake House is AMAZING!!!! The photos on the website do the house little justice! If youre looking for a serene setting with family or friends, this is the place to be. 2 minitues from Dullstroom, but feels like youre in the wilderness. It is seriously nice and the kitchen is well equipped too, as an added bonus. We will definitely be back!!!! The cleaning staff are very friendly and accommodating too. This place is brilliant!

Sho there are so many things that were awesome and even exceeded my expectations to be honest. The fire place, right in front of the lounge, such an awesome comfy place to sit and chat till late at night with the fire burning all night. Nice big dinnig room table that have suck a nice atmosphere with the various lamps around the room. Just like the other reviews states, very well equipped home, nice big kitchen, we even baked whilst there, with everything there from a mixer, measuring cups, etc. Really nice sove, you can cook for a rugby team. The women also jumped in excitement that there was a dish washer. All the rooms were nice and clean, good bedding with comfy duvets and a nice surpize was that almost all the beds had heated blankets. The women freaked out about that. We were also really impressed with the small fireplace in the master bedroom, that you can light to heat the room; as well as the roof mounted heater at the bath in the master bedroom so you don't have to freez whilst taking a bath. The view of the lake from the master bedroom and the main living spaces, including the kitchen, is just wow. The positioning of the house is so well planned with the pine trees on the one side and the lake on the other side. With the trees perfectly distanced from the house to bring in as much sunlight as possible into the house. Such a big selling point to have the space for ourselves, to enjoy the lake, fish (caught some trout), do some canoeing, hike a bit. Although in some cases you do hear a few passing loud cars on the road nearby, you mostly just hear the sound of the wind through the trees, so blissful. Do not forget the stargazing at night, on the deck...

I liked the bathtub that had an infra-red heater above. If this was shown in the pictures, I would have booked sooner. New wood was put into the fireplaces every day. The place was quiet and peaceful and there was some buck on the property.

The whole property is stylishly furnished and well equipped. The facility and its location itself is fantasy-like. It is amazing.
