Fantastic Farm House Experience!

“Pure bliss!”

Kwaggaskop Farm Stoephuis by far exceeded our expectations. We loved every moment. There was no phone signal which for us was such a big bonus! We just took our phones for photo's and ended up only taking maybe 5 and actually just put our phones down the rest of the time. It was so amazing that not even photo's taken can justify how beautiful it is there and to just enjoy quality family time together - we braaied twice a day and it was just pure beauty!!

Peaceful, stunning views, location is perfect and the hosts are amazing.

The Quietness and the open space the fresh air and the owner that organised and assisted us with making a plan when there was no power on the farm, we had a photoshoot and my wife had to do her hair and with now power that was impossible, but owne organised that we go in to her office and we had power to do my wife's hairstyle, thanks for all the help we appreciate it. The coal wood stove was a life saver it really heats up the inside of the house. And the farm worker that heats up the donkey in the morning and afternoon for the hot water

It is very pet friendly. Securely fenced. Great patio. Very quite quaint and has a lovely view. The communication and personal touch from the hosts was also amazing and very much appreciated.

It was wonderful to have the use of the entire farm. It was wonderful to go on daily walks with the dogs off leash. The hosts were super and nothing was a problem. Even offered to pick up some stuff from town. We stayed there for 10 days and there we had ample to do as well as really relax.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, then this is exactly the place. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the tranquility. The house is neat, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the stoep with the beautiful view on the dam.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously, especially the dogs. Being able to run around off leash was fantastic. The house catered to all our needs. The beds were comfortable. It was so peaceful all around. Glad the weather held and we could make use of the outside bathroom :) Hope to return in the near future.

This is an absolute gem of a farm stay. Authentic and so peaceful, complete with little touches like homemade rusks, fresh flowers and dog biscuits which makes it feel like you are visiting much love family. The best pet friendly stay we have had with plenty of beautiful walking areas and a large properly fenced of yard.

Perfect get away for a nice couple retreat.

“Stunning farmstay weekend breakaway”

We had a fantastic weekend getaway at this lovely spot! The best part was being able to let our dogs run free without their leashes – they absolutely loved it. The unit we stayed in was very comfortable, and we had a splendid view of the farm from the stoep, which made our mornings even more enjoyable. The hosts were wonderful too – super friendly and always ready to help. Overall, it was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, and we can't wait to return!

It was a lovely quiet location that was fenced off in what felt like a private and remote area. The view from your bedroom and the stoep made for a relaxing tea or coffee in the morning and a peaceful braai in the late afternoon. The owners were welcoming and very accommodating to our needs, making us feel comfortable during our whole stay, as well as very communicative. It was also a great find as it was perfect for pet owners with the fence around the home and ample land to go for walks with the dogs. There was also plenty of wood for the winter to prepare fires inside and outside the house!

1. The communication from our hosts before and during our stay was highly appreciated. 2. The view from the stoep while having a braai and glass of wine is the reason I will go back. 3. The hikes on the farm through the plantations and around the dam was beautiful and relaxing. 4. When the ESKOM electricity went out on our second day and never came back on, the hosts brought us enough candles, ice and a cooler box.
