Fabulous cottage in a perfect spot for exploring the area and for local cafes, pubs and distilleries. Spotlessly clean and with everything we needed. Nice wee touches including biscuits, milk, tea and coffee. Loved our stay.

We had a great time at Mortlach Cottage. There was no need to worry about arrival time – the key was easily accessible from a coded lockbox. The number of rooms was just right, and the separate beds were a big plus, as we were five friends traveling for whisky tastings. The accommodation and kitchen were very well equipped – I can only recommend it.

Clean & comfortable. All the facilities worked as expected. Comfortable bed. Excellent value for what I paid. It’s not a modern cottage, more like traditional Scottish. I was travelling on business, but the cottage is a short walk to the world famous Glendiddich distillery & Balvenie castle.

The cottage is very good value for money, comfortable and equipped with everything you might need for an overnight to extended stay. Walking distance to the Glenfiddich distillery, and all local amenities.

Property was easy to access as the host had provided us with the details well in advance of our arrival. The property was very clean and comfortable and had good facilities. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the wifi worked flawlessly. Property is within a 15 min drive of the Aswanley wedding venue and about 20 min drive from Huntly.
