Real nice historic Building ! Great service and a real good breakfast !

“Fabulous, highly recommend”

I loved that this is an old historic building with an interesting story. Robert , the owner, who is the only staff member is very interesting to talk to. He gave me a detailed history of the inn as well as Dubuque. The breakfast is amazing & exceptionally good coffee ( rare in America in my experience). Within walking distance of lots of sites, Monk bar which is good for a relaxed drink & close to restaurants. Easy parking

Walking into the beautiful home, being greeted by Robert, with never-ending first class hospitality, along with the comfort and history was beyond all expectations. Breakfast was truly the 'frosting on the cake.' Robert was so kind to take the time to share the history of the home, and the family, with us. This was our first trip to Dubuque, but would not even consider looking elsewhere to stay if we get to Dubuque again.

Quiet rooms and breakfast was great. Hosts were accommodating. Parking was a bit different having to use parking app. Not a big issue as it wasn’t to busy.

Robert was an outstanding host and our stay at the Inn has been a highlight of our road trip so far. Location is excellent, breakfast excellent, parking easy and the bed super comfortable.

Robert the Innkeeper was very welcoming, has a great sense of humor, and interacted with us--showing us to our rooms, telling stories, cooking for us. We all appreciated him very much.

Breakfast was awesome, Henry is very generous and easy to talk to. The bedrooms are comfortable and so vintage. My only regret is that I didn't had time to enjoy it enough.

Everything went better than expected, Robert is a very gracious host.

Unfortunately I did not see the room. Upon arrival I was told my room was on the third floor with no elevator I could not get myself or my luggage to the room. I ended up finding a first floor hotel room down the road.

Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Place was very clean. The instructions sent were helpful and easy to use.

We liked everything......except the TV. We both tried everything we could think of to get it to work but totally failed! Something this complicated needs a set of instructions. Of all the places we've stayed, we totally failed here!

“Charming B&B!”

Charming Victorian mansion with gorgeous decor and architecture. Hosts were very nice and breakfast was delicious. Some modern amenities added, (WiFi, TV, Rocky & Netflix, jacuzzi tub, Keürig, window AC, & small refresh ). There are three floors, with rooms on the 2nd & 3rd floors and no elevator, so exercise will be included! Great location and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shopping.
