“Beautiful villa”

Wonderful villa. Dijana was a perfect host and gave us lots of useful information about the area. Villa was beautifully equipped and spotlessly clean. It was very easy to get to and from the old town by bus. The konoba just a few steps away was excellent. There is nowhere to walk to from the villa as there are no pavements after a few metres, but this didn’t matter as public transport was so easy to use. We were very happy that we’d decided to stay outside Dubrovnik which could be incredibly busy, and we enjoyed the peace and extra space we had in Sustjepan.

This was a stunning villa in the most beautiful location. Spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed. The host, Dijana, was incredibly attentive. She even came to the villa to say goodbye, giving us a lovely present. She was kind enough to gift us the final day in the villa, as she did not have a booking for the following week. We hired a car from Dubrovnik Airport, and this worked well for transfer to the villa. There are lots of buses from outside the Villa to Dubrovnik old town, which we used. We ventured out as far as Mostar in Bosnia, which is well worth a trip. As others note, there is an excellent restaurant just a few steps from the villa. Everything worked incredibly well in the villa. The beds are comfortable, the showers are powerful! The pool is perfect for a quick refresh.

Our host, Dijana was absolutely fantastic in every way, she was there to meet us at the property and we had a very warm welcome from her. She took us through the villa and clearly explained everything. She had also provided a welcome pack for us, with some luxury foods and bus tickets to get us started. The villa was absouletely spotless and has been maintained to very high standards, everything worked perfectly. Even before our arrival the communications that we had from Dijana ensured that our transfer from the airport ran seamlessly and smoothly ensuring that we were relaxed from the very start. At the villa Dijana had thought of everything, from providing BBQ charcoal and lighters, to beach towels. The attention to detail to ensure our stay was relaxing and enjoyable went above and beyond our expectations by a considerable amount.

The location was great as it is far enough out of town not to feel busy but close enough to get to quickly - 15 mins by bus right outside.

This was a lovely, comfortable, well located villa for our holiday in Dubrovnik! It’s close enough to all the amenities and the old town but being just outside of the town made it a perfect place to stay to escape the crowds! The host was more than helpful and went above and beyond to help us with questions! And the pool - it was perfect for cooling down after days out in the heat !

The villa was exactly as advertised. Spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. Felt like home from home. Excellent location, 20m from the sea and a short bus ride into Dubrovnik on a very regular and cheap bus service. Fabulous outdoor pool and BBQ area. Dijana was an excellent host, going above and beyond to make our stay special. She was responsive and gave us fabulous recommendation for restaurants and things to see. Dijana also gave us a welcome pack of basic provisions that was really helpful when we arrived. We visited some of the islands off the coast via local ferry and had a day trip to Montenegro with Amico tours that we would also recommend.

The property had fantastic outside space. Inside was also ideal for our family of four. The owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming.

“Fabulous villa in Dubrovnik”

Our family of four stayed in Villa Rose for a week in June 24. The villa is fabulous, it’s modern, spacious and comfortable inside and has exceptional outdoor facilities - a big outdoor terrace with pool, sun loungers, loads of outdoor seating & a wood fired BBQ. It’s cheap and easy to get to Dubrovnik Old Town by bus or by Uber. The Port Gruz area about a mile a a half away has plenty of shops and a big Tommy Hypermarket. Dijana is a fantastic host, really friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

The property is fabulous. It is extremely well appointed and Dijana has ensured that there is everything required for every eventuality. The villa was spotless and the air con was extremely good at keeping us cool during the heatwave. The outdoor pool was also fabulous. There is a washing machine, which was great; as we were there for 11 nights. Next door there is a lovely restaurant and the bus stops across the road to take you to the old town. We went most nights to eat and enjoy the vibe. You can purchase passes and use them as much as you like. It’s also very reasonable to get an Uber.

The property exceeded our expectations, it was very clean and the beds were really comfy. Everything you need is in the property which made us feel at home straight away. The outside space is amazing and you get sunlight in the garden all day! Dijana was a fantastic host who met us when we arrived and was very kind to give us information about the area as well as a bus pass each and bottle of wine! Overall this is a fantastic place if you are looking for somewhere to relax out of the city, and the restaurant next door is fantastic!

We loved everything. The villa had everything you could need and was immaculately clean. Dijana was the perfect host, welcoming and helpful before and during our stay. The pool and outdoor space was perfect. We were a family of 4 (2 grown up children) and it was perfect for us. The location was fantastic, easy access to the city via bus. We used Uber for going to the beach. We swam in the sea across the road too, but that was for a fun dip, rather than a day at the beach. We also rented a boat for the day and the rental arranged for us to pick up and drop off from the jetty across the road. The restaurant at the bottom of the road was wonderful too.

The outdoor space and pool was so tranquil and well designed to get sun or shade depending on what we desired. The villa was spotless and so well equipped. I have never stayed in a villa where so much thought had been given to the little things that holiday makers need but don’t want to pack. But what made this holiday so wonderful for us was the kindness of the owner Diana, who could not do enough for us. She welcomed us, provided us with a generous welcome hamper and even provided 4 bus tickets for our first trip out. 5* attention to detail!
