From March 22 to March 22, I stayed at the Delano Hotel in Dubai. I would like to share my experience and warn other travelers about some issues with this hotel. It was not a pleasant stay and definitely not at the level we expected from this hotel. Cons: Very weak breakfasts. Not up to 5-star standards. Very poor selection of dishes, minimal amount of fruit, everything tasted bad and was of low quality. In any café outside the hotel, you will get much better food and breakfast quality. Fresh orange juice was mixed with packaged juice — this is something you would expect from a 3-star hotel, not a 5-star hotel. Delano — do you not have the budget for proper fresh juice? Only two types of cheese, two types of cold cuts, minimal fruit of very low quality — this is terrible. There are essentially no proper breakfasts at this hotel. The salted salmon was of the lowest quality, and the Eggs Benedict was simply awful. The pool is terrible — either there is no filtration system or it does not work. The water is cloudy, with a film on top, and dirt collects in the corners. It is actually scary to go into this pool — you feel like you might catch something. The room is a separate issue. We took one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel with a terrace — but it was impossible to use the terrace. The floors were extremely dirty, as if they had never been cleaned. After stepping onto the terrace, our feet turned black. This is completely unacceptable. And finally, the worst part — we arrived with our own car and handed it over to valet parking clean and spotless. They returned it to us in terrible dirty condition, explaining that it had rained and they do not have covered parking. Delano — this is unacceptable.

“Best property for a Private beach and Best Pool for Families, 5 STARs”
We loved the peaceful and the family setting of the hotel. The location is the best place to be in Dubai for a peaceful stay in the posh locality of the Blue Waters. The play area at the connected hotel Banyan tree was fabulous. Overall the stay was very comfortable with my Toddler!

“Sensational!”
We had such a lovely time and I just wanted to mention how attentive all of the pool staff were throughout our visit. They were always friendly, helpful, and quick to check in, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and really well looked after. A special shoutout as well to the lifeguards, who were incredibly attentive and professional at all times. It was really reassuring to see how focused they were, while still being approachable and kind. And lastly, a big special mention to Ronnie at Rose Bar — the drinks were absolutely incredible and Ronnie made the experience even better with such great service and a lovely, welcoming attitude. It honestly made our evenings feel extra special. Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to come back!
