It is possible that there was some confusion about my arrival time but the Normandy did not meet any of expectations of a central town French hotel. I arrived at 5pm ther were no staff present , the building was locked . The main reception area was closed and full of building material. A notice on the door directed me to another entrance which was locked . The building did not look like any functioning hotel which I have seen. Typed notices on the doors offered rooms at prices even lower than what I paid . I drove on.0⁰

“Atmospheric and Charming”
Yeah it was not super clean and yeah, I can see why people might find it creepy, but for me it had a unique charme, the room was big and had some unique furniture, everything was working fine and it actually had this interesting vintage atmosphere. Maybe not for everyone but I liked it and the price is fine. The staff is also super friendly!

“Need improvements”
They do gave me a bedroom with easy access to come in with my bike. It was a room with plenty of space and a big TV.
