Lovely venue with great views over the surrounding countryside. Great base for walking or cycling. Owner/management staff spoke good English and were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was of good quality. Meals were available at lunch and evening times and other than winter available every day of week. The WiFi connected easily and appeared strong with video and streamed TV working on a tablet or laptop. Most rooms had a balcony, most with far reaching views. Parking on site was plentiful and free.

“Very pleasant”

Lovely location!

We arrived late, and the owner was very kind and made us an evening meal, which was welcome after a 100 km cycle. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and we had a lovely relaxing stay. You must try the family local beer, which was very nice , and the views from the terrace are beautiful. So close to the Kemmelberg made for a fantastic stay.

On the way home from a great tour round the Ardennes. Parked my motorcycle out front, no problems at all. Breakfast was good too. A nice hotel in a great location.

The location was lovely The owner was a gent and let us put our motorbikes in his garage. The place is lovely and has a well stocked bar and great food.

Stunning location and view from the restaurant and terrace. Huge rooms, very comfortable beds, perfect for our group of 10 cyclists, even with an empty garage to store our bikes. Excellent steak and chips and an extensive selection of Belgian beers! Perfect all round!

The staff were friendly. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the views fab. A good atmosphere in the restaurant.

Smallish family run hotel in remote, rural, quiet location but within easy reach of A25 Calais -Lille highway. Large restaurant which provides excellent views over the surrounding countryside and is obviously very popular with walkers and cyclists as the hotel is situated on number of walking/cycling trails. Good well presented food albeit with fairly limited menu. Good choice of beers. Friendly, helpful staff. Large comfortable room with balcony. Ample free parking.

perfect place for a stay in Heuvelland. Nice rooms, comfortable beds and a great restaurant with inside and outside dining with an unforgettable view. Right on the Kemmelberg, close to the commandobunker.

Staff and food excellent. Real nice feel to the place, restaurant obviously has very good reputation as packed during the evening but only quarter of that number for breakfast

A wonderful hotel, which is ideally positioned for cyclists for the iconic kemmelberg and especially the cobbled section. This hotel can cope with single travelers through to large family groups, the staff are wonderfully attentive without being imposing. This hotel is a traditional place with a modern facilities where they should.

Good location for us, very comfortable rooms. The restaurant & bar have a great atmosphere and staff are always pleasant, efficient and helpful. This was our 2nd stay here and we will definitely return.
