“Beautiful hide-away in the mountains”
We had chosen this place for a day of relaxation during our Iceland trip and didn't regret it. It's a very tranquille location in a beautiful setting close to a river. The house itself is absolutely amazing, in particular the hot tub on the terrace.

“Lovely cottga in beautiful setting”
Lovely little cottage with private hottub. The tub was lovely and the kicthen well stocked. The view from the lounge area is just lovely with the hills and the river surrounding. The lounge is very comfortable and the an amazing setting for a relaxing stay.

Excellent place to stay if you are in the area near Holmavik. The hosts were lovely and available for any questions or issues you may have. Spacious, clean , comfortable, modern. Quiet, peaceful, with scenic views. The hot tub is great, Why pay to go to a geothermal tub, when you have one right here. Highly recommend.

“Superb cabin, spotless and well-equipped with own hot tub!”
The best self-catering accommodations we have stayed in during our trip to Iceland. The cabin is snug but exceptionally well laid out and felt spacious, warm and spotlessly clean with every detail thought of. Coffee percolator with coffee, well-equipped kitchen, great sofa and TV, barbecue on the deck and best of all, the hot tub, which was lovely and warm and a real treat at the end of the day. The bed was incredibly comfortable too! We wished we were staying longer, one night in this superb cabin simply wasn't enough to enjoy the amenity.

“little paradise in the north!”
Wonderful cottages, equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy dinner in a super nice environment. Hot tube was fantastic, cottages are spread far from each other; the views are unbelievable, a little paradise in the nature. The owners were super nice to give us a second cottage at a friendly price because the 2 bed room one was allready booked. On top, they allowed us to stay till 4PM as we had an unforeseen issue with out car. We will certainly come back!

“Perfect cabin, excellent accommodation”
This is probably the best place we have stayed in our 25 days in Iceland. Everything was spotlessly clean, stylish, and in great condition. Everything you could possibly want is there. From paper towels in the kitchen to wine bottle opener, salt and pepper, olive oil, etc. With underfloor heating, the cabin temp was very easy to adjust up or down. The fridge was a good size about 80 litres, 3 induction stove tops, and they all worked perfectly. There was a toaster and coffee machine jaffle maker as well. On the deck was a hot tub with amazing views and a bbq and outdoor furniture.

Wonderful cottage, equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy dinner looking at the sunset. Hot tube was fantastic. Good starting point to explore Djupavik and Holmavik area.
