“Beautiful location, wonderful host”

Location, right on the beach, was ideal for every excursion and beautiful view of the whole of Drake Bay. Olman is the best host, nothing is too much trouble. We loved our stay here. We enjoyed the Sirena Corcovado Tour and the Cano Island snorkelling was exceptional. The horse ride to the waterfall was superb too. Olman helped me with arranging all of these.

Some might say that this lodge is basic and in some ways I'd agree, however if that's what you wanted and expected you'll not be let down. We loved it here. The lodge matched the vibe of the whole of Drake Bay, chilled and relaxed. The excursions organised by Olman and his team were some of the best we've ever been on, and the local hiking trails are easily navigated on your own. As a base the Osa Corcovado Lodge will not disappoint, with its friendly and accommodating staff nothing was too much trouble.

We had a great time staying at Osa Corcovado Lodge. Olman, the host, was incredibly helpful, helped us arrange boat trips from/to Sierpe and the guided trip to Corcovado park. He was always happy to answer all questions, was very flexible with the breakfast (we had one at 5am due to early trip to the park) which was very tasty. We highly recommend his place!

“Cosy lodge near the beachb”

Great location, close to the beach, the Drake trail and town centre. Breakfast choices and flexibility with the time was excellent. Olman is a super host, it takes care that all goes fine at all times.

“Amazing stay, highly recommend.”

An amazing place to stay. Olman the owner/manager is exceptional helpful and does a great job of making you feel welcome. The room had a fridge and a filter coffee machine with coffee provided and excellent air conditioning. My room had a triple aspect view looking right onto the beach. There was a spacious shower room, comfortable beds and table and chairs in the room. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The breakfast was amazing and they will work around you so you can have it any time you choose. The location is perfect, it is right on the beach and next door to The Buccaneer, which is a fantastic restaurant. It is also just 2 minutes walk from Roberto’s which is where all tours and excursions leave from. You can’t get a better location. Olman also runs Picolina Tours, this is really convenient. Olman can talk you through all the tours available and can arrange them to suit your timings. He works with other operators to ensure you can do the activities you want when you want to do them. The beach in front of Roberto’s is busy in the mornings and sometimes chaotic as everyone arrives to go on their booked tour. Every morning I saw Olman on the beach ensuring all his customers his customers were being looked after, introducing them to their tour guides and ensuring nothing was missed. Highly recommend the accommodation and highly recommend using Picolina Tours to book all your activities.

“Disappointing”

The location despite is closed to the road that can be a bit noisy sometimes. The diving with Wilson was outstanding!

“Very nice place”

The people of the lodge were incredibly kind and very helpful. The room had everything we needed. The location is amazong, right at the beach.

Large room and bathroom. Firm bed. Air conditioning. Across street from beach with unobstructed views of bay and couple of hundred yards from Sierpe boat drop off and pick up and multiple restaurants. Had power failure for 5 hrs all the restaurants were closed. The staff called the cook back to prepare our final meal using gas. As we were eating the power came back on.

Right on the beach, quiet, and close walking distance to the town center. I wish we stayed longer. Bring a flashlight, it gets pretty dark at night.

“Great base for exploring Drake Bay”

Great location, so close to the beach! Olman was extremely helpful and responsive - gave me plenty of good advice for my Corcovado tour and for my return journey to San Jose. He also helped arrange the taxi boat to and from Drake, which was great to have one less thing to think about.
