Mohagine Hotel offers pet-friendly accommodation in Drake. Free private parking is available on site. The tropical garden is surrounded by rain forest. Some rooms have a seating area where you can relax. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. Mohagine Hotel has hot water showers. Mainly in the common living area. You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. There is an equipped kitchen where you can cook your meals and use free basic ingredients such as salt, oil, pepper, vinegar etc.. and in the new lounge you can enjoy free top quality coffee or tea. No internet conexion for the moment. We arrange hikes in the National Park Corcovado and snorkeling and diving at Caño Island. Also night walks on our farm or horse back riding, floating and kayaking is possible to do here. Arrangements can be made with the property.

We stayed in the 'tent'. Very spacious and quiet. Shared kitchen, seating area and toilets very clean. Great place to meet other travellers. Excellent value for money.

It's our second time here. We love the simple rooms imbedded in the jungle. Lots of animals come by as monkeys, agoutis, aras and butterflies.

“little paradise in the jungle”
Aurelio, the host is very nice and helpful . we had the chance to meet some of his friends and it felt like family time with locals . the location is amazing , you can hear and spot some monkeys next to your room ! it’s very clean .

We booked for two nights the family bungalow which we left after the first night. We have been advised that we should switch on the fan if there are mosquitoes. The fan was so loud that we couldn’t sleep the entire night. Bed and towels were clean but maintenance was poor. Some of the lights didn’t work and there was dust including rusty nails as hangers. Mosquito net was not available. We didn’t not want to use the public kitchen as it looked dirty. Would not recommend this place.

“Perfect accommodation to explore Drake bay!”
It’s a lovely stay in the jungle! The atmosphere is great, Ana is extremely helpful, the kitchen is very good equipped and drake bay is amazing and you can do a lot of nice things there (Diving, Corcovado national park, hiking, kayaking…). I would definitely come there again!

“nice bungalow in the middle of nature”
the surroundings were very nice, with nature all around, you can hear many birds all day and we even saw an agouti two times playing in the garden (around 6h). the bungalow is simple but was very clean and with a private porch, wich was really nice and gave privacy. the common toylets were always very clean and some of them with hot water. all the place was very silent wich was good. the common kitchen has everything you need. Close enough to the beach, restaurants and 2 mini markets.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. The nature in the garden is impressive, you can see animals like monkeys or agutis. The whole place is very clean, the shared kitchen as well as the bathrooms and the rooms. The kitchen is perfect for cooking, there’s everything you need. All in all the perfect place to stay in Drake, friendly atmosphere and very kind staff, very helpful for planing tours/diving lessons/public transports. We would definitely come again!

I stayed in the tent which I'd recommend to everyone who likes living outdoors. At night temperature is better in a tent is way more comfortable than most of the other places i've stayed. The service is awesome; without an extra fee they booked an diving trip, corcovado Sirena trip and booked the bus-ticket (early morning 4:30 AM from drake bay to puerto jimenez) for mee. Everything could be arranged by WhatsApp. I'd recommend hiking the drake bay hike all the way (preferably in the morning). And make sure if you want to visit corcovado to book in advance! The kitchen has a lot of equipment and there are spices, coffee and basic grains available.

The tent in garden was under a0nother tent and on a teak platform with veranda & steps. Quiet & on the edge of the forest. Comfortable & away from other accommodation.

“Next to the jungle”
The bungallow had a terrace which faced to the jungle. Mornings and afternoon the mot-mots was there. Which is not a common bird at all! But the whole hotel is full with other birds as well. Don't go there if you affraid of hummingbirds! :)
