“My Favorite Place in Town”

I have stayed in 7 budget places in town over the years and this place is the best by far. My second stay here, stayed total of 11 nights this time. Very quiet place, great view of ocean/sunset from dining area and room balcony. Room cleaned most days. Nice staff. Option for breakfast and other meals onsite. Shared kitchen was cleaner than most, had 2 cooking/sink areas, adequate fridge space, rare anyone else was cooking at same time. Host arranged boat transport and assisted me with my luggage when I left. I walked there with my minimal luggage on arrival from another place in town. Steep stairs up to the place so would be difficult if you have mobility issues, but was a good workout. Close to beach and small supermarket.

Fabulous location. Lovely cabin with verandah overlooking the bay. The little restaurant just below the property was great, delicious food, lovely friendly waitress and great value.

Best place i have stayed in Costa Rica! If you're a nature/wildlife lover or photographer, this is the place you should stay! It's situated against a hill, has beautiful views on its surroundings, and just from your balcony and the viewpoint on top of the hill alone, you can already spot a lot of different species of birds without leaving the premises. The owners are very friendly, do pick-ups from the ferry, and on request, they make a nice breakfast.

The view from the room was amazing! We had a toucan visiting the tree right in front of our door on the morning that we had to leave so that was perfect! The bathroom is partly open so you can shower with this view, which is just wonderful.

“Overlook Drake Bay cabins”

Nice location at Drake Bay a bit above ( like 120 steps by food) a main costal road. The Owner Michail is nice, always helpful, polite, helping and organising or connecting us with trips to primary forest jungle or snorkeling at Caño Island with catamaran (the best guides and the best prices) . Very good and colorfull breakfast every mornig (for extra charge $8 pp, fresh juice, Coffee, different tropical fruits, pancakes with syrup, eggs scrumbelled with variant ingredients or fried) any time we needed to be served according to our day schedule. Good wifi at dining area and some nearest rooms. Some rooms do not have wifi signal and Mirador as well doesn't) . Nice overlook spot (Mirador) above the accomodation with roof, chairs and 3 hamakas to see and overlook Drake bay. He owns also small restaurant at the entrance to the property where is good kitchen and we had extraordinar Mahi mahi (fish) so we had second time ať the last dinner. Parking also posible for few cars next to the restaurant which is not nentioned on booking.com ,

“You see and hear the sea all the time :)”

We got a simple room with a drake bay view. In our room no AC but a fan, was ok. All was ok, especially the host super friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be served upon request. You can use the common room, kitchen, fridge. Also the food in the local restaurant was very good. Beach and place to buy beer is nearby, minutes away.

Very friendly and helpful owner, amazing location overlooking Drake bay and their lovely garden buzzing with hummingbirds. They serve a delicious breakfast at whatever time you want!

“Fantastic view from simple bungalows in a lovely setting”

Simple wooden bungalows in an exceptional setting overlooking Drake bay and lovely garden which attracts the birds. Lovely friendly and helpful hosts who do a great breakfast. The boat was Sierpe dropped us off close to the bungalows and Michael picked us up. Short walk into town by road or along beach if tide is out.
