“Amazing host and unique location - great experience!”

David is a truly great host, food was very good and it is beautifully located by the beach, at a perfect spot between Drake Bay and San Josecito beach. There were two fans in the room that helped with the heat, as well as drinking water. The room and sheets were clean. Nice little roofed terrace with hammock, table and chairs that let us sit outside even when it rained. Thank you, we had a great time! :)

“Very nice and authentic accommodation near Corcovado National Park”

A fantastic location close to Drake Bay and Corcovado National Park. The family owning the place is doing a great job, the rooms are made every day, the food tastes very good and they give advices and organize tours if requested. All this for a very fair price for the area. I recommend the place to everyone looking for a simple, yet very nice and authentic accommodation.

“An Oasis”

The family owned lodge was delightful. David was able to arrange the outings we requested - it was seamless. We enjoyed it being full-board as it is off the beaten track (which we like), and so it would have been difficult to go out to eat.

Difficult to get to- jeep/ 4-wheel drive! But worth it!!! Interesting dirtroad drive with slopes. Family lodge with three separate houses. Great food. Clean. All type of anlmals and birds can be seen just by walking down to the beach and along the walks going from beach to beach to beach! Great help from Eduardo to book fishing etc. So much more nature animals birds etc and less tourist than e.g. Manuel Antonio national park.

Incredible location a stones throw away from a private beach and surrounded by nature. We saw macaws, a sloth, monkeys and hummingbirds, lizards, frogs and more. Very secluded and intimate lodging with great service and amazing meals.

“Exceptional location, beach 50 meters away, wonderful family host”

We were looking for accommodation a little past Drake Bay that was even more remote. The location is exceptional. The rooms are simply furnished. The beach is 50 meters away, the nature surrounding the accommodation, the wonderful family that welcomes you here with authentically homemade dishes. We had an unforgettable experience here for 4 days.

I want to give a very high rating but need to be honest and inform about what we experienced. First of all, the family is super nice, the food was really very delicious. The breakfast (one day omelette, next day pancakes, than fried eggs - always accompanied by fresh fruits, good bread and coffee or even hot chocolate for our daughter), Dinner and lunch very tasty chicken, pasta, fish, beef.. Very, very good, served with very refreshing homemade lemonades. Different softdrinks and beer can be purchased for a reasonable price. The 3 lodges differ a bit in its layouts and furnishing. The bathroom is simple but supplies hot and cold water at any time. The lodge is bigger than the indicated 9 sqm- this is a mistake with booking.com. I think it has 20 sqm with a lovely terrace. The gardens are very well kept and you see sloths, hummingbirds, tucans, monkeys and not far away you can observe the lovely Aras in the almond trees. The host organizes very good trips for you - we went on a night walk - a bit exhausting but also very exciting. They help you with your luggage and the transportation. There is a beautiful beach, very close to the accommodation for swimming (with a bit attention to the tides and waves) and beautiful sunsets. You can also go for super nice walks/hikes either to Drake bay - or in the other direction towards Playa San Josecito - crossing Rio Clarao.

David the host was superb - very helpful. His wife cooked us some delicious breakfasts and dinners. Lovely gardens and setting, a short walk from the beach.

Great location, on the limit of the Corcovado National Park and next to the beach. Lovely family run property which is great value for money considering that all 3 meals are included in the price (which is pretty necessary considering that you are a 30min drive from the village of Drake). The beaches are beautiful. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, were able to organise an excursion for us and also show us some of the wildlife close to the property.

Super friendly family that made us feel very comfortable the whole time. The food provided was awesome and the animals we were seeing around were amazing. To stay here is highly recommended
