My partner and I had a wonderful time here, and would most definitely recommend staying!! The property is so beautiful; super comfortable, clean, and well located- tucked in the jungle just a short walk from a stunning beach. Thank you so much to our host Cristián and his lovely wife Virginia, who made our stay so special. We absolutely loved our stay here. Christian and his family are amazing hosts and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The location is incredible, a short walk from a very secluded beach and the hiking trail. The cabins are surrounded by nature- Christian helped us spot toucans, white faced monkeys and trogons right on our doorstep! Christians wife makes delicious food- we ate breakfast lunch and dinner some days and relaxed in the hammocks enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Christian was also extremely helpful with organising transport for our Corcovado trip- the boat picked us up on a beach near the Cabins and we enjoyed a full breakfast beforehand. Thankyou so much to Christian and your family for the incredible hospitality and making our holiday so great 🙏😄

Christian and his family are so welcoming! We were picked up from Cristian after our travel plans changed. We were accommodated in a lovely room with an extrodenary artwork on the wall, we had a delicious breakfast cocked every morning and had the option of dinner every night. Recommended! Prepared with so much love from Cristians wife ❤️ Cristian also helped us to organise trips to the National park and snorkelling, as well as teaching us about the local wildlife. Wonderful remote place, build with so much love and we felt like family!

What a gem of a place in the middle of a thick rain forest and seconds away from a private unspoilt beach. WOW!! Special shout out to young Yafeth! What a lovely boy...

“A paradise spot hosted by a lovely local family”

Absolutely amazing place in the middle of the jungle with animals all around you. Very clean, very confortable, air conditioning in the cabin. Cristian and his family are so welcoming and kind, they will do their best to make your stay an Unforgettable experience.They cooked for us delicious meals and organized our excursions to Corcovado National Park. Also advised us how to spend our free time and showed us many animals, it was such a pleasure to spend some days with them. This place is an untouched paradise, a beautiful beach is just 1 min. walk, the cabins are located on the beach but the abundant vegetation doesn’t allow to see the sea from the cabins. The route to the cabins itself is an adventure, 4x4 car is a must. The three days we spent there were The best of our visit to the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. We will be back there for another holidays for sure.

Really nice place with a wonderful family of three, you live close to the family and get a real genuine costa rican experience. Virgina and Christian really put in the effort to make you feel at home. Close to beautiful beaches and nature.

Close to a beautiful secluded beach Staying with a lovely family, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Some of the best food in Costa Rica

The cabins are owned by a very friendly family. They did everything to make our stay comfortable. The cabins are surrounded by jungle, where you can see birds, monkeys etc (we saw a toucan). We also loved the food that they prepared for us. There is a stunning beach only 100 meter from the cabins and there are many more stunning and secluded beaches if you follow the beautifull walking trail from the beach. We also booked a tour to Corcovado at the cabins.

We loved our stay. The owner cristian and his wife were amazing people. So helpful. Loved the accomodation. Was basic but very comfortable. Good air-conditioning for when it was needed. The location was so relaxing. So much wild life around. Is about a 40 to 60 minute walk to drake town depending on how fast you walk. The walk itself is very beautiful. Highly recommend staying here. They serve tasty food and drinks as well.

Christian is very friendly and helpful. The locations is fantastic, right on the beach, where you can have a good swim. The vegetarian we asked for where good. It was nice to get in t ouch with a local family.

Cristian went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. For the price we paid, we had the perfect stay. The location is amazing, very close to a beautiful beach. We did not need a grocery store because Cristian’s wife cooked and provided us with all meals (for a reasonable additional price). It was authentic local cuisine which we appreciated very much. The room had AC and a fan, both worked well! We had warm water. Cristian was always available by WhatsApp messaging and helped us arrange tours as well. We would definitely come back to this place!

“A great location and very helpful young hosts”

A budget location where a young local couple provide you with everything that you need to enjoy a great location. Full board, air conditioning, hummingbirds and toucans just beyond the room’s porch, immediate access to a beach that may well be something special, as within an hour of arriving and taking our first stroll, we were welcomed by a large humpback whale – beginning of April – that managed to swim past within about 100 metres of the shoreline. That normally costs a lot of money, here, it was free. If you are willing to forgo 5-star luxury, and wish to help a local family share in the tourism boom, this may well be the place for you.

Absolutely fantastic host Cristian!!! Always ready to help, advice, fulfill your needs. Simple but very tasty breakfast and the best beach. It almost seems like its a private beach, there was nobody apart from me and my wife most of the times. Loads of monkeys, lizzards and other animals in walking distance

“Great stay in tranquil and beautiful surroundings”

I had a wonderful stay at Cabinas Yafeth Osa. Even before I arrived, Cristian was great at communicating with me, answering all my questions and was really helpful. The family are very welcoming, kind and great hosts. They met me at the beach after I got off the boat, helped with luggage and took time to point out animals and wildlife on the short walk to the cabins, in fact they did this often ensuring I never missed seeing the wildlife! I enjoyed talking to Yafeth about animals and practising my Spanish :) The room was big and immaculately clean, decorated with fresh flowers and with the hottest shower I have had in Costa Rica. I am vegan/vegetarian and Cristian and Virginia accommodated my diet and the food was very good, and big portions! The area is quiet, with just a few other local people living nearby, which was very much a welcomed change after visiting some busier, touristy areas. There are so many beautiful, deserted beaches to explore, and Cristian gave me recommendations of beaches to visit for snorkelling. Walking on the Drake bay hiking trail was a highlight, and to be surrounded by amazing nature and wildlife. Cristian arrange excursions for me too which were great. Definitely recommend staying here and I would love to visit again.
