It was wonderful to stay with Martha and Gaëtan; we stayed there for two weeks with our family from Germany. The hosts are super nice, helpful, and easy-going. In addition to French, they speak fluent Spanish and English, and they lovingly prepare breakfast. They live in the same house (it's important to know that). However, you have your own private space. They are very sensitive, attentive, and give you the space you need. If you're willing to adapt, it's fantastic to have locals who can give you valuable tips and with whom you can have stimulating conversations. If you want some peace and quiet, you'll find that there, too. The area is a fantastic and diverse starting point for a trip to the nearby small and large towns, each with its own unique history, the numerous markets, wineries, and museums, whether to the north on the lakes or to the south on the Mediterranean. Most places can be reached in a maximum of 20 minutes to an hour by car. You can enjoy cycling, hiking, or swimming in the rivers or lakes, learning about the history of the area, or simply reading a lot. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely come back. Martha & Gaetan have a perfect place, if you are looking for a remote place to relax and at the same time consider to be close to activities in the region. Their individual house and home is build with love and offers great hospitality, which you will also see in many „corners“ during your stay. Both are very kind hosts, who really take care so that you can enyjoy a pleasant stay.

“Relaxing stay with a very convivial host.”
The host, Gaetan, is very kind and engaging and worked incredibly hard to make our stay as easy as possible. He went the extra mile to provide us with an umbrella when it was raining, booked us a restaurant reservation and also made sure he was on hand to say goodbye when we left.
