The Chateau is an outstanding property in formidable surroundings . If you are lucky enough to be able to take breakfast in the gardens in front of the Chateau (an exceptional breakfast served by mine host) personally I felt not only were we stoked for the day but we also got to observe the work that’s going into a truly historic lump of real estate that includes not just the renovation of the chateau itself but also the surrounding terrain where you are encouraged to admire the vines (which by the way produce a very decent ‘Rouge’ ) alongside the production of bio-centric fruit and veggies which is a passion of both Julia and Baptiste - this has been a stay unlike any other in the whole of France…So Thank You Chateau des Salles. P.S. A great hello to the irrepressible Mira, the farm dog, who is endeared to anyone she meets…complete with ball or stick!

This is one of the most beautiful, tranquil places i have ever stayed in. The chateau is beyond beautiful and very tastefully decorated. I can't recommend it highly enough. Julia and Marie were gorgeous hosts and they made me feel so welcome. The delicious breakfast was served each morning on the terrace looking out onto the gardens.

The place is absolutely wonderful: the atmosphere, the decoration, truly a palace. Julia and her husband are incredibly friendly and super helpful. You won’t find a more charming place to stay in the area.

The personal was very nice and polite. We arrived very late because of traffic problems but they were very kind to wait for us until we got there. The place is beautiful and the room was very charming and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying att Chateau des salles.

The Château has a very relaxed atmosphere, with the sun chairs around the large pool, the hosts working the vegetable patches and vineyards around the main building, the breakfast under the trees in the garden... It was a lovely stay and we felt very welcome.

Everything. A historic, unpretentious, delightful, comfortable, charming, not to mention extremely friendly place to stay. a beautiful large comfortable bedroom, with a beautifully proportioned bathroom. I congratulate whomever restored and redecorated this charming home. we even loved the dogs, and the cat! We came away with wonderful memories, and look forward to passing this way again soon.
