“Good one night stop close to ferries”
Good location close to ferry ports Caen 30 minutes Le Havre 1 hour. Basic room and very clean, ok for one night stay. Plenty of parking spaces. Family run very friendy with good food.

The Normande is quite large and far from new, but clean and well maintained. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and not cramped, the Hotel was quiet and had its own private parking.

“Was just about OK (bed, shower/toilet, roof) - no frills.”
2star hotel - accomodation only. Bed/room was OK, clean but basic. Linen/towels changed every other day. No breakfast. Wifi seemed a bit slow?

The staff were really friendly and helpful. We didn't speak any Frech but they tried their best to help us and we used Google translate to comunicate with each other. We didn't know that many places closed at 8.00 pm but they kindly opened the kitchen for us so could enjoy a delicious meal. Their gesture was lovely!
